St Ives School in Haslemere has announced that it is going to become fully co-educational from September 2020. 

In 2017, St Ives started accepting boys in the Pre-Prep department.  Due to the popularity of this amongst current parents, and given the growing trend of educating boys and girls together, the Board of Governors has decided to take boys all the way through the school until Year 6 from September 2020. 

We are thrilled to announce that we have been awarded a ‘Highly Commended’ award for Prep School of the Year at the Independent Schools of the Year Awards 2018. 

Years 1 and 2 had a particularly good Forest School this week, enjoying the beautiful Winter sun. 

Year 2 had a great day at Raystede learning about how the charity supports and rehomes farm and domestic animals.

These included helping out in the Nursery & Reception, sharpening pencils for teachers & offering cakes, cookies & sweets to staff & pupils alike.

We're delighted to be getting involved with Bag2School. Collect your unwanted clothes & other textiles & return to school on Mon 3 Dec. It's important to teach our children recycling, reuse & prevention of landfill & it raises funds for the school.

The residents loved listening to their Autumn poems & loved the artwork the children left behind.

We explored lots of hands on exhibits & the Explorer Space, a new exhibition. The planetarium show was great fun & we zoomed through Space to visit all the different planets & take a closer peek. Thanks for having us Winchester Science Centre !

Such a fantastic Halloween Party!  Thanks to everyone who helped out & made it such a magical day, with special thanks to our wonderful parent body (Friends of St Ives) who made it happen.
