Year 5 spent Wednesday in Haslemere, exploring what life in the area was like in World War 2, looking at former air-raid shelter and bomb sites. Afterwards we went to Bramshott to see the Canadian memorial site and war graves. It was a poignant reminder of the impact of both wars.
