Year 6 Luncheon Preparation

Our Year 6 pupils are very busy today preparing for a luncheon for some very special guests. They’ve planned the guest list and menu, sent out invitations and collated replies, been shopping for the ingredients, have arranged flowers for the tables and are now carefully following their recipes whilst preparing the food. There is a huge buzz in the kitchen and dining room - a mixture of nerves and excitement. They can’t wait to host their guests later - Heads & senior management from their senior schools, our Governors, the Mayor of Haslemere, the Royal Society of St George and our parent body.

New Nursery Play Area

A sneak peek at the new Nursery area that’s waiting for the children’s return on Monday. Doesn’t it look fabulous?! Of course, it won’t be complete until there’s lots of little people playing on it! We can’t wait to watch them having hours of fun on it in the last half of term. Have a fabulous bank holiday weekend everyone & we look forward to seeing you on Monday.

Year 2 Trip to Queen Elizabeth Country Park

Year 2 enjoyed a lovely (if wet!) trip to the Queen Elizabeth Country Park in the South Downs today, to support their work on national parks. They climbed Butser Hill in record time & found some fascinating creatures while pond dipping.

Year 6 Flour Babies Project

Year 6 pupils are finding out what it takes to be a parent this week as they take part in the Flour Baby Project. Each pupil has to look after their Flour baby (or babies - a couple of pupils have chosen to look after twins!) 24 hours a day for a week. They’re all extremely enthusiastic & diligent now, but let’s see how they’re coping in a couple of days!

Years 5 and 6 Trip to Wales

Years 5 and 6 went back in time today learning what it was like to be taught in the Victorian era at Welshpool Museum. Some of them even had to wear dunce hats!

Year 2 Athletics Meet

Fantastic afternoon of Athletics as we invited children from Year 2 at Grayswood & Camelsdale Schools to compete in short and long distance running, relays, ball throwing and hurdles. A wonderful introduction to track and field. Thank you to Grayswood and Camelsdale for coming.
