Year 1 had a great time exploring Haslemere Museum today. They saw lots of different species of animals and thought about what habitats these animals might have. They also saw the new African wildlife photography exhibition.

Year 2 had a wonderful trip to Ham House, taking part in a Stuart workshop. They had a wonderful time touring the house, working as servants, dressing as ladies and gentlemen and baking Stuart biscuits. Thanks so much Ham House for having us!

Thank you so much to Professor Su Mini Professor for giving all our Nursery and Pre-Prep children such fantastic classes this week. They all enjoyed them so much!  Such a treat & a wonderful way to celebrate British Science Week.

We had a great first day of our 3-day Wizard of Oz themed Maths Festival. The whole school came dressed as their favourite character & enjoyed a day of mathematical activities.

As part of their topic on The Stuarts, Yr 2 staged their own Great Fire of London today, burning the Stuart-style houses they created in Design & Technology.

This week, as part of celebrating Valentine’s Day, the children at St Ives School, Haslemere, have been showing love to children whom they may never meet by donating their preloved toys and books to the Toy Project. 

Year One and Two enjoyed a wonderful, wintery forest school session today, enjoying our beautiful grounds in the snow and sunlight.

Year one braved the cold just like real explorers on their trip to Bird world today! Visiting lots of amazing birds, animals and sea creatures.

The event was a huge success!  Luckily, the rain held off, no one fell in the mud and everyone made it back up our killer hill!  Well done runners and thank you to Brookham School, Grayswood School and Camelsdale School for helping make it such fun.

Everyone loved it and it was amazing to watch live theatre at school.
