Learning about Plant Power!

Years 4, 5 and 6 all enjoyed a presentation on 'Plant Power' this morning. The children learnt the benefits of eating less meat and more plants, both for their health & the environment. They all made a salad from beans & pulses & tried foods they hadn't eaten before!

U7 Cross Country Invitational

A brilliant afternoon of Cross Country at St Ives and fortunately the sun was shining.  Over 50 girls and boys from five schools took part in a friendly Cross Country event through our forest and fields.  Thanks go to Brookham, Camelsdale, Grayswood and Easebourne for attending and the many parents and supporters on the sideline, cheering the children on.  A special mention goes to Mrs Lipscombe for counting the children through the forest, Mrs Duggin for coaching our Year 2 team and our wonderful Year 6's for running alongside the Year 2's and marshalling the event all afternoon.
