Happy Mothers Day to all our fab Mums for everything they do, especially after a Lockdown year. You've done a brilliant job at keeping the children happy, calm & learning & for making the transition back to school so seamless. Thank you!

We're rejoicing at being back at school & playing sport with our friends! So far this week the Prep School children have played Netball, indoor Cricket & enjoyed a Long Jump & Triple Jump Competition, whilst the Pre-Prep children have practised striking & fielding & have even attempted some mini-Rounders! Year 5 & 6 Athletics Clubs started again on Tuesday with Discus & Sprinting. It's great to be back!

It's so wonderful having everyone back! Nothing better than a busy school full of laughter, chatter, smiles & happy children. Here are some of our Reception children celebrating!

Pupils have been drawing & painting the school & their teachers to celebrate our 110th birthday. We've loved seeing your work!

Mrs Goldsworthy's latest Lockdown challenge was to transform a wooden spoon or a potato into a book character in time for World Book Day.  We have loved seeing all your entries!  

Year 3 had great fun today dressing up for their Ancient Egypt workshop. Each child received a 'Tomb Explorer's Sack to help them search for the Mummy, unlock chamber doors and collect facts. Well done for your fantastic costumes Year 3!

Welcome back everyone! We hope you've had a good & restful half term. We've loved seeing all your acts of kindness - from cooking Valentine's dinner for your parents, to writing cards & baking brownies for neighbours, to walking the dog for your Mum who has hurt her hand & many more - all these kind acts make a huge difference to the people you help.... & to you too. They help you understand the value of giving back, kindness & community, which are such important lessons to learn. Well done!

Fantastic achievement from the whole school for covering 1,554 miles this half term in our 110 mile weekly challenge to celebrate our 110th birthday - that's the equivalent of Land's End to John O'Groats and halfway back again! You've smashed the 110 mile challenge week in week out, as well as the UK Virtual End to End Challenge and we've loved seeing all your photos. You've got outside to exercise in all weather conditions - mud, rain, sleet, hail & snow!

This week Mrs Goldsworthy has set the children a Valentine's Baking Challenge & the entries are coming in thick & fast! What a fantastic bunch of romantic bakers you are. It's just not fair that we can't taste them - they all look delicious!
