Olympic Festival Medal Ceremony

Our Olympics Festival ended with a closing ceremony with medals being awarded to those who showed great teamwork and sporting prowess.  A fantastic three days of learning about new cultures and activities.

Pupils Enjoy a Three-Day Olympic Festival

We're celebrating the Olympics early here at St Ives with a fantastic 3 day Olympic Festival!  Olympic themed activities are being built into all areas of the curriculum, along with new experiences, all focusing on the Building Learning Power Model.  These pupils representing Mexico seem to be getting to grips with Archery incredibly well!

Reception go to Marwell Zoo

A magical day for our Reception class at Marwell Zoo yesterday. Wonderful to see and learn about so many animals and such a joy to be on a school trip again! Thanks for having us Marwell Zoo!

Year 1 Trip to Wisley

Friday was Year 1's turn to go on a school trip! The children had the most amazing day at RHS Wisley exploring the gardens & learning about plants from different regions. Wonderful to be able to enhance the children's learning in this way again!

Year 3 build a scarecrow

Year 3 have built a scarecrow for the @HaslemereRotary scarecrow competition. The children decided on a sporty theme due to the Olympics this Summer. All profits from the competition go to the Haslemere Food Bank & the Stroke Club. Good luck children!

Year 6 Visit to PGL

Year 6 had a brilliant day out PGL on Friday. The children demonstrated excellent teamwork, support & collaboration in all new activities & had so much freedom & fun! Wonderful to be on school trips again!
