St Ives Pupils Organise Lunch for Guests

This week the Year 6 pupils at St Ives School in Haslemere organised a luncheon for some very important guests – the Head Teachers of the senior schools they will soon be joining, the Mayor of Haslemere, representatives from the Royal Society of St George, some St Ives parents and senior members of St Ives staff and Governors.

New Playground Equipment at St Ives Nursery

This week, the children at St Ives School’s Nursery, The Ivies, had a wonderful surprise as their playground had received a makeover during half-term!  A fantastic new piece of climbing equipment on new astroturf now has centre stage in the Nursery’s big garden.

Year 6 pupils at St Ives School in Haslemere are celebrating a 70% success rate for scholarships and awards this year.

Milly and Penelope's Fundraising for Ukraine

Two pupils in Year 4 at St Ives School in Haslemere have been raising money for the Disasters Emergency Committee Ukraine Appeal by selling sunflower seeds at St Ives and in shops, cafes and doctor’s surgeries in Haslemere and Grayshott.

St Ives Pupils Solve Murder Mystery

Last week Year 6 pupils at St Ives School in Haslemere had to use all the skills they’ve been learning in STEM lessons this term to work out a crime scene.  Someone had been murdered in the school’s Science Laboratory and it was down to the Year 6 pupils to find out who dunnit!

St Ives Celebrates Mental Health Week

Last week the pupils at St Ives School in Haslemere celebrated Children’s Mental Health Week with a number of initiatives both on and off curriculum around this year’s theme of ‘Growing Together’ in association with Place 2 Be and BAFTA Kids.

Pupils from St Ives School in Haslemere have had their memories of life during the coronavirus pandemic preserved as part of the 2021 School Time Capsule, a project led by BAFTA Kids, children’s mental health charity Place2Be and Oak National Academy.
